Hello, I'm Hilary

I've been sewing since I was at school, and started sewing little things when I was made redundant in 2014. This was initially to use up fabric that I'd had for many years - much of it since my now-adult children were small. I sold these items at a couple of Christmas fairs and I now attend several local craft fairs every year. This shop is my on-line craft stall!

I usually buy small amounts of fabric, often in sales, and make one or two unique items. Many of my clothes are therefore unrepeatable, but I'll try to find more of the same fabric if you want a custom order. I'll also work with you to find other fabrics to make something especially for you.

A few of the clothes are upcycled, made from charity shop finds.

I mainly use 100% cotton or cotton lycra (95%:5%). Many of my clothes are reversible (sun hats, coats) and others (such as dungarees and pinafore dresses) can be made reversible if you want a custom order.

This is a hobby for me, and I get great satisfaction from sewing these little things.
